Classic scale "Dartanian" earthenware sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig and produced by Animal Artistry for Thomas Bainbridge Fine China. The edition size of this Iberian stallion is limited to 50 pieces in but OF and CMG finishes plus 5 artist proofs. This is one of Sarah's copies. She and I got our little noggins together and came up with the collaboration of her sculpture and my glazework for a stellar collector's piece.
The original plan was a satin finish, but we ended up going glossy on him to really bring out the subtle nuances of this color. He has creams, golds, pinks, and white flavors in overglaze with some very light dappling. Finished in 2026.
