Traditional scale "Stormwatch" American earthenware sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz and produced by Joanie Berkwitz. The edition size was limited to one mold, and I count my lucky stars I was able to buy a bisque from Joanie.
I knew the glazework had to be as special, so I went with a roaning technique I've not seen employed on the ceramics yet. In my own opinion, he's incredible. Glossy and overglazed as a bay roan with tons of cornspots/scarring so his coat was as rugged and rangy as the sculpture. It' taken me about 10 years, but he's now finished and dated 2026.
