Hamilton
(Breyer 2019 Premier Club Piece #2)

Hamilton, a five-gaited, racking Saddlebred stallion, is my first traditional sculpture commissioned by Breyer and I couldn't be more tickled with how he came out! Breyer knew what they wanted, and it was my job to make that come together. Much thought was put into this piece to make sure it balanced properly without a base, molded easily, and of course was visually striking. Designing the finishwork was the icing on the cake. As with the sculpture itself, I took the time to anticipate the limitations of a factory finish and designed my hand-painted oil piece to be easily reproduced with their methods. The thoughtwork paid off as the plastic production model came out simply fantastic and better than I'd hoped! And I love love love that little bit of pearl in the base-coated white! Even the mapping has a look of being hand-brushed! Breyer really knocked this one out of the park.

I am offering up 9 of my 12 artist copies from the plastic production run. These will be signed by me for a nice collector's touch.

These are PRE-ORDERS and will most likely ship with the official release in August. I AM NOT INSPECTING THESE FOR FAULTS. These are come as I get them. I am not an OF person and probably wouldn't even know what to look for so I'm not going to try. This is not a "go through and pick the best one for me" thing. They will be looked at only long enough to sign and repack. There are no refunds. Shipping via FedEx ground/home is included in the continental US. Int'l shipping will be via USPS and will be quoted and billed at time of shipping.

While the photo above is of my paint job on the resin master, you can check out the photos I took of the plastic production example on display this BreyerFest in the Collector's Club Tent.
